Construction sign with worker
The Town of Milton is warning of some roadwork that will be taking place close to Highway 401.
Workers will be undertaking the road rehabilitation of High Point Drive, from Regional Road 25 to Parkhill Drive, which includes:
- Replacement and relining of existing storm sewers (localized)
- Removal and replacement of existing curb and gutter
- Installation of new 1.5m wide sidewalk on south side of High Point Drive
- Removal and replacement of existing asphalt and road base
This construction will start in June and will run until September. No full road closures of High Point Drive are anticipated, but access will be limited at times to facilitate work. Traffic delays are expected.
This may cause interruptions to Milton access+ and Milton Transit OnDemand services in the area.
All road closures can be found using the Town’s interactive road closure map.
