Local businesses can show their Pride support through a new program offered by the Milton Chamber of Commerce!
Throughout the month of June, businesses in Milton can pick up a free sign to post in their storefronts and offices. The signs welcome members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community into their space. Digital signs are also available for free.
“It is our hope that these signs, clearly communicate welcome and belonging for all patrons and visitors,” says Bianca Caramento, President & CEO of the Milton Chamber. “With that said, it is important to note that signage alone does not erase past and present prejudice. It simply serves to remind viewers that safety and belonging exists, though perhaps not yet in every space we enter.”
This initiative will not be exclusive to members of the Milton Chamber.

It’s in partnership with the Royal Bank of Canada, Conestoga College, Cogeco, CN, Pflag Halton, PRISM, and the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area.
Businesses can sign up for a free sign online here. Pick up will be available on Thursday, June 1st, as well as following Tuesdays and Thursdays in June.
