The Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA) is holding their annual SummerFest event this weekend, and everyone is getting involved!
Earlier this month, the Milton Historical Society (MHS) announced that it will hold its SummerFest Extravaganza during the day. It will include live blacksmith demonstrations, classic cars, a garage sale, gift shop items like mugs, ornaments and gift certificates, as well as selected book shop items that will be signed by their author.
Also taking part in the day though will be the Milton Legion! Royal Canadian Legion Branch 136 will be holding a BBQ cookout! Sausages and hamburgers will be available for $5 each. Learn more here. The Milton Legion can be found at 21 Charles Street.
Downtown Milton SummerFest is happening on Saturday, June 3rd, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. along Main Street East. It is hosted by the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area with support from the Town of Milton and is presented by BMO Financial Group.
Main Street East will be closed to vehicles between Brown Street and Commercial Street for the event.
