The month of May has been declared as as Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month in Milton!
Mayor Gord Krantz made the proclamation this week at Town Hall. Flags were raised to bring awareness to Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and raise funds to help find a cure.
Eight-year-old Liam Wilson of Milton co-wrote a children’s book about his stay in the hospital while living with CF. You can buy the book online here, as well as in-person at Saturday’s event. $5 from every purchase will go to support the Sick Kids Foundation and John Tavares Foundation.
Follow Wilson on Facebook here, and Instagram here.
