Community Living North Halton (CLNH) is holding a fundraiser to help build a deck!
It’s called ‘All Decked Out’. The goal is to raise enough money to add a deck to their Milton residence at 340 Ontario Street South. It’s similar to a fundraiser held in 2021 called ‘Pave The Way’ that saw the organization raising money for a new driveway.
Integrated Marketing Specialist at CLNH Sheldon Samlall explains what the organization does for the community.
The fundraiser is being held for National AccessAbility Week, which runs from Sunday, May 28th to Saturday, June 3rd.
An online portion of the fundraiser is currently live, and you can donate here. There will also be a raffle with exciting prices. The campaign will close with an in-person event. Residents can get their car washed and/or enjoy delicious BBQ at a cookout happening at 12 Todd Road in Georgetown. It runs from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2nd.
The fundraising goal for the deck is $7500.
