More construction has been announced for a Milton road.
The Town of Milton is widening and reconstructing the hairpin curve on Appleby Line. The enhancements include:
- Widening of roadway through curve while matching width of existing roadway north and south of curve
- Urbanization (construction of mountable concrete curb and gutter, catch basins and storm sewer)
- Asphalt paving, pavement markings and signage
- Construction of impressed concrete stone patterned retaining walls to permit widening of roadway
- Landscape planting
The construction will take place from May through to September. Local residents will be allowed access. Detour routes will be available via Derry Road, Bell School Line and 14 Side Road.
