The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for an unknown man who stole a ring from a Halton Hills jewelry store.
On Friday, April 7th, a suspect entered the unnamed store and asked an employee to show him a necklace. While the employee retrieved the necklace, the suspect leaned over the open case, grabbed a ring valued at roughly $7,000 and concealed it in his jacket pocket. He then left the store, making no attempt to pay for the concealed ring.
The HRPS describe the suspect as:
- Male
- 35-45 years old
- 5’8, 175 lbs
- wearing black rimmed eyeglasses, grey toque, black coat, green Hugo Boss sweater, jeans and black running shoes with white and red detailing
