The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton are now available.
Two additional deaths are shown in the totals. Both deaths were Burlington residents, putting the city at 210 total deaths. Milton remains at 87 total deaths. Oakville remains at 148 total deaths. Halton Hills remains at 75. Halton is now at 520 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 67 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 59,041. There have been 1,838 total hospitalizations in Halton and 520 deaths.
In Milton, we had 23 new cases. That brings us to 15,132 total cases. There have been 417 total hospitalizations in Milton and 87 deaths.
There is currently one outbreak reported in Milton:
- Allendale Long Term Care Home, Trafalgar Home, declared Friday, April 7th (No further details)
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,548,458 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,381,207 of the doses were to Halton residents.
