Prime Minister Justin Trudeau paid a visit to Alliston on Wednesday (apr5).
The PM met with employees at the Honda plant to announce new and expanded tax credits proposed in the 2023 federal budget.
Trudeau highlighted growing anxiety among working Canadians over issues like climate change, economic slowdown and inflation caused by the pandemic.
He says the federal government plans to create good jobs for the middle class and to grow the economy, including new measures to support clean energy.
Like the hybrid CRV that is currently being built at the Honda Plant.
