If you’re a restaurant looking to have an operable and/or extended patio this summer, you’re in luck!
The Town of Milton bringing back its Patio Program for the 2023 season. The seasonal program allows bars and restaurants to extend and operate patios in designated areas.
It was first introduced in 2020 as a way to provide local eateries a chance to operate outdoors during the pandemic. The Town says it has successfully supported the local food and beverage sector in recovering from the operational impacts resulting from the lockdowns.
“The Town of Milton aims to support businesses here in our community,” Andy Scott, Director, Strategic Initiatives & Business Development. “We encourage new and returning businesses to apply for a temporary patio permit and look forward to the 2023 season.”
