Two Milton residents are splitting a quarter of a million dollars after winning the lottery together!
Alan Stevenson and Lynda Rowland won the $250,000 top prize with INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE.
The two have been playing the lottery together for 23 years.
“I was scratching the ticket and I noticed I was getting quite a few words. I was so happy to see we won $250,000,” Alan shared while at the OLG Prize Centre.
“He called me to tell me about the win and I started screaming! I fell out of bed and became tangled in the blanket!” Lynda laughed.
Alan says this win feels like a miracle. “Dreams really do come true,” he smiled. He plans to purchase a new Harley Davidson motorcycle. “We will also take a few trips. Maybe to British Columbia, Florida or Mexico.”
Lynda continued, “I also want to purchase a trailer to go camping… It hasn’t hit me yet. It’s unbelievable. “
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Regional Road 25 in Milton.
INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE is available for $10 a play and the top prize is $250,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.45.
