Could we change the way teachers learn for their profession?
‘Re-imagining Teacher Education for the Future’ is the theme for the latest Laurier Milton Lecture Series happening at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton. You can join Dean, Faculty of Education Maria Cantalini-Williams to discuss how school boards and faculties of education can collaborate to make positive impacts on teaching, learning and research communities.
The conversation will also provide an overview of the current teacher education program offered by Wilfrid Laurier University. Panel members from local school boards will share their insights and inspirations of innovative strategies to prepare teachers for educational systems of the future. Panel members include:
- Brian Capovilla, Superintendent of Human Resources and Leadership Development Wellington CDSB
- Jacqueline Newton, Superintendent of Halton DSB
- Em Del Sordo, Superintendent of Halton Catholic DSB
- Peter Sovran, Director of Upper Grand DSB
- Nancy Dinolfo, Superintendent of Education Halton Catholic DSB

The latest lecture will run from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8th at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.
