
The Halton Region has shifted to COVID-19 updates once a week.
The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show five additional deaths in the totals. Three of the deaths were reportedly Oakville residents, giving the town 147 total deaths. Another was a Burlington resident, putting the city at 198 total deaths. The fifth death was a Halton Hills resident, putting the town at 75 total deaths. Milton remains at 85 deaths total. Halton is now at 505 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 113 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 58,496. There have been 1,776 total hospitalizations in Halton and 505 deaths.
In Milton, we had 11 new cases. That brings us to 15,048 total cases. There have been 407 total hospitalizations in Milton and 85 deaths.
There are currently no outbreaks reported in Milton.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,542,424 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,375,743 of the doses were to Halton residents.

- 6778 total doses have been administered to people aged <5;
- 77,224 total doses have been administered to people aged 5-11;
