The Milton Menace will finish their regular season with a tough match-up this weekend.
The boys in black will head to Collingwood to take on the powerhouse Blues at the Eddie Bush Arena. It won’t be impossible to grab a win here, as the last time these two teams played each other, the Menace won 3-2. Read the recap here.
The playoff-bound Menace are 31-18-2-2 through 58 games this season. That gives them 66 points and places them in fifth in the OJHL North/West Conference. They’re even with the Pickering Panthers, who have two games in hand with one more win, and 15 points back of the third place Burlington Cougars. The Menace rely heavily on star player Aidan Hughes, who leads the team with 31 goals and 45 points in 53 games. View their player stats here.
As for the Blues, they are the best team in the North/West Conference and rank second in the entire OJHL. They have a record of 42-9-0-1 in 53 games, giving them 85 points this season. Puck drop at the Milton Memorial Arena at the Eddie Bush Arena in Collingwood will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4th. After that, it’s playoff time, baby.
