The County of Simcoe kicked off their #ITSTARTS campaign for the month of March.
With over 82,000 immigrants calling the area home, the campaign is aimed at supporting inclusion, acceptance, and equity across the region.
County Warden Basil Clarke says …Immigrants add a lot to growing communities and support many industries, including health care.. It’s important to continue building welcoming
and supportive communities across our region.
To help businesses learn more about the value of diversity, equity and inclusion, the County is working with Harmony Movement, a leading provider of DEI (diversity, equity, and
inclusion) training programs.
