The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says Joao Matias has been located and is back with his family.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) needs help in finding a missing Acton man.
50-year-old Joao Matais was last seen on Wednesday, March 1st in the area of Rachlin Drive and Churchill Road South in Acton.
Matais is described by the HRPS as:
- Male
- White
- Brown Hair with goatee and beard
- 180 lbs and 5’9″
- Heavy build with very thick eyebrows
- Both ears are pierced
- Tattoo on left forearm of Canadian and Portuguese Flag
Family is concerned as Joao has not taken his medication and are concerned for his wellbeing.
Anyone with information about Joao or his possible location is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905 825 4777.
