Another Burlington resident is celebrating a big win lottery win!
Bernardo Di Donato matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the November 16th LOTTO 6/49 draw to win $100,000!
“I feel a whole lot of happiness.”
The grandfather said he’s been playing the lottery for 50 years.
“I was grocery shopping with my wife when I decided to check my tickets – when I saw $100,000, I was very excited!” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I went to find my wife and when I told her, she didn’t believe me and thought I was joking.”
When Bernardo told his kids about the win, they were all very happy for him.
“They all congratulated me – little did they know I plan to share this win with them,” he smiled.
Bernardo plans to celebrate his win over a nice family dinner.
The winning ticket was purchased at Classic Newstands on Maple Avenue in Burlington.
