The Town of Milton has upgraded its telephone system.
The shift is expected to make it easier and more convenient for residents, businesses and visitors to access Town services and programs by phone.
In a release, the Town says the new telephone system offers several benefits for residents and customers, including:
- Improved accuracy of call flows and service descriptions, making it easier to find information
- Enhanced self-serve options
- After-hours support, offering the ability to connect to a live customer service representative, 24/7
When calling the Town of Milton at 905-878-7252, callers are presented with an automated directory for each municipal service. This directory provides residents and customers with messaging to ensure they can self-direct to the appropriate service area that can help them.
“I am pleased to see the launch of the telephone system upgrade today,” says Milton Mayor Gord Krantz. “Council has made a concerted effort to invest in opportunities to improve our customer service that results in making it easier for the public to access essential information and municipal services.”
The system upgrade is a continued demonstration of the Town’s efforts to be accessible in various ways, and builds on our commitment to customer service. Additionally, the Town is focused on enhancing online access and services through the Digital Strategy.
