A series of search warrants in Caledon and Brampton has turned up a number of stolen vehicles.
Caledon OPP, Nottawasaga OPP and Halton Regional Police along with the assistance from several other police agencies has led to the discovery of 16 stolen vehicles worth almost $1-million.
10 Dodge RAM pickups topped the list, followed by 2 Toyota Highlanders, and 1 each Lexus, Chevy Suburban, Volkswagen Passat and a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Police continue to warn owners of newer model pickups and SUVs to be aware that groups of organized criminals are targeting these vehicles and to take
precautions against thefts.
