The Halton Region has shifted to COVID-19 updates once a week.
The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show an additional death in the totals. The death was reportedly a Burlington resident, giving the city 190 total deaths. Milton remains at 84 deaths total. Oakville remains at 142 total deaths. Halton Hills remains at 74 total deaths. Halton is now at 490 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 123 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 58,142. There have been 1,747 total hospitalizations in Halton and 490 deaths.
In Milton, we had 19 new cases. That brings us to 14,995 total cases. There have been 401 total hospitalizations in Milton and 84 deaths.
There are currently no outbreaks reported in Milton.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,539,363 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,373,035 of the doses were to Halton residents.
