Students are helping make Valentine’s Day a little more special for seniors once again this year.
For the 4th year in a row, South Simcoe Police Auxiliary officers and community volunteers will deliver over 1,000 cards created by local elementary school students…in the Caring With Cards and Carnations Campaign.
The cards will go to seniors in Bradford and Innisfil, along with flowers from Linda’s Floral Design in Bradford on February 14.
Some students are even making flowers.
This years campaign will include Lakeside Retirement Residence, Sandycove Acres, The Elden of Bradford, Holland Gardens Retirement Residence, LeBlanc Rest Home, and Bradford Valley Care Community.
