
The Halton Region has shifted to COVID-19 updates once a week.
The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show three additional deaths in the totals. One of the deaths was reportedly a Burlington resident, giving the city 187 total deaths. Another death was an Oakville resident, giving the town 141 total deaths. The third death was listed as a Halton Hills resident, giving the town at 74 deaths. Milton remains at 82 total deaths. Halton is now at 484 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 153 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 57,730. There have been 1,728 total hospitalizations in Halton and 484 deaths.
In Milton, we had 28 new cases. That brings us to 14,909 total cases. There have been 396 total hospitalizations in Milton and 82 deaths.
There are currently two outbreaks reported in Milton:
- Allendale Long Term Care Home – Allen, Halton & Adams Home
- Seasons Retirement Home – Fourth Floor
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,534,190 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,368,460 of the doses were to Halton residents.
Here’s a breakdown on ages of those receiving doses:
- 6228 total doses have been administered to people aged <5;
- 76,571 total doses have been administered to people aged 5-11;
- 112,415 total doses have been administered to people aged 12-17;
- 114,549 total doses have been administered to people aged 18-24;
- 73,793 total doses have been administered to people aged 25-29;
- 87,381 total doses have been administered to people aged 30-34;
- 103,097 total doses have been administered to people aged 35-39;
- 111,348 total doses have been administered to people aged 40-44;
- 117,966 total doses have been administered to people aged 45-49;
- 121,638 total doses have been administered to people aged 50-54;
- 119,591 total doses have been administered to people aged 55-59;
- 112,283 total doses have been administered to people aged 60-64;

The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 477,228 total doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 36,783 total doses have been administered through other clinic settings;
- 1,020,179 total doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
