If you’re looking to get involved with the community, here’s the answer!
As of today, residents can volunteer on a pair of committees:
Volunteers will be required to serve a four-year term, which runs concurrent with the term of Milton Council, until successors are appointed.
Generally, qualified applicants must be:
- A resident of Milton, or;
- An owner or tenant of land in the municipality, or the spouse of such an owner or tenant; or,
- Employee(s) of a business located in the municipality or student(s) attending a school located in the Town of Milton; and
- A minimum of 18 years of age on the date of appointment
Each Committee or Board has general eligibility plus preferred skills or attributes. These requirements can be located on the Boards and Committee web page.

Here’s how to apply:
- Application forms are available at milton.ca/GetInvolved
- A separate application must be submitted for each committee for which you wish to apply
- Please submit a resume, along with the application form
- Completed application forms must be received at the Office of the Town Clerk no later than 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023
