Some people just don’t understand the dangers of speeding.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) stopped a car this week that was driving through the Milton area at Guelph Line and Conservation Road. The driver was going 107 km/h in a 60-zone. To make matters worse, the area was also covered in a thick fog. It seems the driver used being late as an excuse.

In a tweet, the HRPS says that multiple charges were laid and the vehicle was towed.

Please drive to the weather conditions, being late for school is not an excuse to speed. Multiple charges laid/vehicle towed #slowdown ^LB pic.twitter.com/1PAEneBg6O
