It hurts seeing others live your dreams.
As a Jags fan, I’m very happy to see Jacksonville in the playoffs, pulling off unbelievable comebacks. Shortly after the 31-30 win over the Los Angeles Charges on Saturday night, the Jaguars announced that a new quarterback will be heading to Duval County, and he’s from Halton!
Oakville’s Nathan Rourke had a stellar 2022 season in the Canadian Football League (CFL), playing for the BC Lions. Playing in ten games, starting nine, Rourke threw at an unbelievable 78% completion rate, with 3,349 passing yards and a touchdown-interception ratio of 25/10.
Rourke will join the Jags on a three-year contract and will sit behind 2021 1st overall pick Trevor Lawrence on the depth chart. He will be competing with back-up CJ Beathard and third-string undrafted signee EJ Perry.
