The Halton Region is reminding residents of each of the four municipalities (Milton, Oakville, Burlington, and Halton Hills) that Christmas trees will be picked up with waste collection this week.
During the weeks of January 9th and January 16th, you can leave your trees on the curb on your scheduled waste collection day. All tinsel, lights, decorations, tree stands and plastic bags should be removed before placing along the curb. You’re also asked to make sure they don’t freeze or become stuck to any potential snowbanks.
If you’re unsure of when your collection day is or if you’d like to learn more information on waste collection, click here.
