The County of Simcoe held their 175th Inaugural Ceremony on Tuesday (dec13), where the latest members of County Council were sworn in.
Mayor of Ramara Township Basil Clarke, was elected to the position of Warden.
Jennifer Coughlin, mayor of Springwater, was elected as Deputy Warden.
She was nominated by former Deputy Warden Lynn Dollin.
County Council works to ensure residents have access to critical governmental services.
