A Milton store is down a few bikes and a cash register after a break-in.
Spokes ‘N’ Slopes at 307 Steeles Avenue East was broken into at some point between Thursday, December 8th and Friday, December 9th. Owner Matt Burger says he left at around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday night. His cash register was then found in the area of Market Drive at 1:00 a.m. on Friday morning.

In photos, you can see the glass door, the first of two doors, was shattered. Burger says a second, more secure door was relatively untouched as the suspects managed to break through the dry-wall beside the door and unlock it.

A Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) officer on-site was unavailable to be reached. We’ve reached out to the HRPS media team to get more details on the theft.
