The Town of Milton has approved four locations for outdoor ice rinks!
The Neighbourhood Outdoor Rink Program is a collaborative project between residents and the Town. Groups of six or more adults can build and operate a neighbourhood rink in a pre-approved location, meeting the criteria and agreed upon responsibilities to maintain the rink throughout the winter season. Town staff will support the installation of the rinks, train the volunteers, and provide tips on maintenance.
The Town says that four locations in Milton have been approved:
- Scott Neighbourhood Park East
- Laurier Park
- Meighen Park
- Wilmott Park
The rinks will open in January 2023, weather permitting.
Thank you #MiltonON for the tremendous community response to participate in our Neighbourhood Outdoor Rink Program!
