The Milton Menace are looking to rebound after a tough loss to the Collingwood Blues on Friday, November 18th.
The boys are heading south to take on one of their Halton rivals: the Oakville Blades. Coming in to this game, the Menace are 16-5-1-2 through 24 games this OJHL season. That puts them in third place in the North/West Conference. Over those 24 games, Milton has somewhat been carried by the play of their star forward Aidan Hughes. He has 16-goals and 24 assists through 24 games played. Get the full team stats here.
The Menace recently traded away veteran players in goaltender Christian Trianni, forward Ryan O’Toole, and forward Luca Rea. In exchange, the Menace received forward Jared Coccimiglia and a player development fee.
The Oakville Blades have been one of the worst teams in the North/West Conference, boasting a 6-15-0-1 record over 22 games this season. That makes this game an ideal one for the Menace to bounce back with, but they also need to avoid falling for a trap game. Not much has gone right for the Blades this year, with their leading scorer tallying less than a point-per-game. In 20 games this season, Matthew Wang has 10 goals and eight-assists. Check out Oakville’s stats here.
The game is on Tuesday, November 22nd at the Sixteen Mile Sports Centre. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The next game in Milton is on Friday, November 25th. The Menace will take on the Aurora Tigers. Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. Milton Menace home tickets for this OJHL season can be foundĀ here.
