
A G2 driver was caught going nearly double the speed limit on a local road.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) stopped the driver in the area of Derry Road and Trafalgar Road in Milton on Friday afternoon. They were going 112 km/h in a posted 60-zone. It was also a construction zone with workers present.
Their driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
