The Town of Milton and Milton Mayor Gord Krantz have proclaimed November as Women Abuse Prevention Month.
In a tweet, the Town says that flags will be raised at Town Hall this month.
“Together with [Halton Women’s Place], we stand in solidarity with women experiencing abuse,” the Town adds in the tweet. “The elimination of violence against women continues to be a top priority.”
