Milton Transit announces route changes due to new Milton school

The Town of Milton has announced incoming changes to some of its Milton Transit services.

In a notice, the Town says the changes will come on Monday, November 7th. Here’s the breakdown provided:

New School Extra

Beginning November 7th, they are introducing Route 54, which services St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School.

  • This School Extra route arrives at its stop of Whitlock Avenue and Kennedy Circle West at 8:09 a.m.
  • The bus departs Whitlock Avenue and Kennedy Circle West after school at 2:25 p.m.

Updated School Extra

53 School Extra (Elsie MacGill)

  • Morning trip will be starting five minutes earlier at 7:50 a.m. from the Milton GO Station.

Tickets and passes

Transit tickets and passes can be purchased at open ticket agents. Customers may also purchase tickets and passes through the mobile app or use exact cash for payment upon boarding the bus.
