The Halton Regional Police Service has released a statement following the recent passing of Retired Chief James (Jim) Harding.
Chief Harding passed away on Thursday, October 27th.
Halton Police shared that its members are deeply saddened by the news.
“Chief Harding was hired by the Halton Regional Police Service in 1979. He remained with the Service until his retirement in 1994.
Chief Harding was a pioneer leader whose contributions shaped our Service and the policing profession.
We will miss him greatly. Our hearts and thoughts are with the Harding family.”
