A Burlington man has finally won the lottery after “many years” of playing!
Barry Gowan is $500,000 richer after winning the top prize with INSTANT MYSTERY MULTIPLIER.
Gowan said the ticket was just something he bought while out. “I picked up this ticket when I was out getting gas,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I checked the ticket using the Ticket Checker and saw Big Winner – $500,000. I was so surprised!”
When Barry shared the news with his daughter, he said they shared a special moment. “She said, ‘Dad you’re amazing and you deserve this.’ It was so nice.”
Barry said this win is all about his family. “I plan to share this with my children and my grandchildren,” he concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Guelph Line in Burlington.
