The Halton Police will be hosting a local food drive in honour of Diwali this month.
The Cram-a-Cruiser event is happening on Saturday, October 15th from 11am-3pm at the Desi Mandi store parking lot in Burlington.
All donations received will be distributed to local food banks to help those most in need.
Halton Police are asking for various non-perishable food donations such as:
- canned meat
- fish
- fruit and vegetables
- cereal
- dry pasta and sauce
- peanut butter
- rice
- soup
- baby supplies
- personal hygiene products are most needed
Desi Mandi is located at 1515 N Service Road, in Burlington.
