The Halton District School Board (HDSB) is making sure things are set straight and that media outlets get their facts right.
A local teacher is in the news. The reports say the teacher is coming to class at Oakville Trafalgar High School wearing a prosthetic bust with revealing clothes that technically break the policy code held by the HDSB.
The school board says that several of these reports have incorrectly identified this teacher as Stephen Hanna. A quick Google search of the name brings up this article from Rebel News. Here’s what the HDSB had to say on the misinformation:
While we cannot confirm the identity of the individual in the photos/videos/radio segments, we can confirm that the individual is not Stephen Hanna. Stephen Hanna is a staff member of the Halton District School Board who is an entirely separate individual and is completely unrelated to this matter.
The school board then asks that all media outlets who incorrectly identified Hanna remove the name from any and all content posted online.
