The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show four additional deaths in the totals. Two of the deaths appear to be Oakville residents, giving the town 118 deaths total. The other two deaths are listed as Burlington residents, putting the city at 154 deaths total. Milton remains at 72 deaths. Halton Hills remains at 68 deaths total. Halton is now at 412 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 147 new cases since Tuesday. The total number of cases is up to 54,031. There have been 1,448 total hospitalizations in Halton and 412 deaths.
In Milton, we had 55 new cases since Tuesday. That brings us to 14,194 total cases. There have been 336 total hospitalizations in Milton and 72 deaths.
There are currently two outbreaks reported in Milton:
- Allendale – Long Term Care Facility – Allen House
- Seasons Retirement Home – Third and fourth floor
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,398,472 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,245,676 of the doses were to Halton residents.

- 71,461 total doses have been administered to people aged 5-11;
