What a fundraiser!
The 7th annual Ladies Play Day golf tournament for the Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF) is being touted as a huge success. The MDHF says that $34,000 was raised at the August 22nd event. Female community members showed up at Crosswinds Golf and Country Club to enjoy a round of golf and fundraising get-together.
The Foundation raises money for the Milton District Hospital, as federal government funding only covers brick and mortar costs. Donations help purchase things like medical equipment for staff to use.
In a notice, the MDHF thanked the public and joked when wishing that attendees had finally dried off from the day’s rain.
