A rock climbing incident at a Milton conservation area has led to serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area on Friday where a rock climber had been injured. Reports from the Toronto Star say the injured woman was with a group of rock climbers at the base of a 70-foot cliff near the Buffalo Crag Lookout when a falling rock struck her. It’s believed she had injured her arm, ribs and head.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) she was taken to hospital for treatment.

The injuries were reportedly not life-threatening.
