It’s one thing to double the speed limit on the highway, it’s another to claim to not have known you were doing it.
The Ontario Provincial Police pulled over a light coloured sedan recently after it was clocked in at 200 km/h on Highway 407 going through Burlington.
According to the OPP, the driver says they didn’t even know they were going that fast. Obviously, that excuse didn’t work on the officer. Their license was suspended and the vehicle was impounded.
200km/h = 2x the speed limit = #30DayLicenceSuspension = #14DayVehicleImpound. #BurlingtonOPP stopped this vehicle on #Hwy407, Driver claimed he didn't realize he was going that fast. Charged #StuntDriving. pic.twitter.com/yCTOgCtaxF
