Hockey is slowly coming back, and with that, the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) has released the schedule for the 2022-2023 season.
The Milton Menace will launch the entire OJHL season with a game in Caledon against the Admirals. That will be on Thursday, September 8th at 8:00 p.m.. The Menace home opener will be the next day, Friday, September 9th, at 7:30 p.m.. The Menace will take on the Mississauga Chargers.
The schedule unveiling has also detailed the dates for the OJHL annual Governors’ Showcase and All-Star Celebration.
The regular season ends March 5 with one game. It’s a repeat of last season’s championship series with Pickering visiting the defending OJHL regular season champion Toronto Jr. Canadiens. The Menace will play their final game on March 4th, on the road, against Collingwood.
A big thing to note is the Buffalo Jr. Sabres of the West Division are taking a leave of absence from the OJHL for a third season.
