The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has confirmed one death in a crash that took place in Milton Tuesday night.
Shortly after 9:00 p.m., a 32 year old Mississauga resident was driving his BMW SUV northbound on Fourth Line, south of Britannia Road. He lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
Members of the HRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit attended and took carriage of the investigation. The scene investigation was assisted by the expertise of Crime Scene and Forensic Identification Officers. Fourth Line south of Britannia Road was closed for approximately 5 hours for investigation.
