UPDATE
A collision from earlier today (July 26th) sent a Milton resident to the hospital with serious injuries.
On Tuesday, July 26th, at roughly 9:00 a.m., a 24-year-old Milton resident driving a Mazda 3 suffered a serious injury during a crash at the intersection of Trafalgar Road and Hornby Road in Milton.
She was transported to Sunnybrook Hospital for emergency treatment.
Also involved in the collision were a 46-year-old Cambridge resident driving a dump truck and a 61-year-old Brampton resident operating a transport truck and trailer.
Due to the severe nature of the injuries, members of the Halton Regional Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit attended and took carriage of the investigation.
The scene investigation was assisted by the expertise of Forensic Services and members of the Commercial Motor Vehicle unit.
This intersection is within an active construction zone.
Trafalgar Road was closed for roughly six hours.

A collision has closed a local road as a police investigation is underway.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is currently on scene for a motor vehicle collision in the area of Hornby Road and Trafalgar Road in Halton Hills. Trafalgar Road is closed between Steeles Avenue and 5 Sideroad.
Fire officials and Emergency Medical Services are on scene.
