The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a serious collision involving a cyclist and they need witnesses.
On Tuesday, June 21st, at roughly 1:55 p.m. a cyclist was travelling eastbound on Spruce Avenue in Burlington. The cyclist was struck by a blue Nissan Sentra in the intersection of Spruce Avenue and Starview Road. The cyclist was taken to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken over the investigation.
The HRPS is requesting that any witnesses to this collision, or any residents who may be in possession of video surveillance footage in the area of Spruce Avenue and Starview Road contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
