Halton Police are investigating a theft that happened at a local Home Depot.
On Tuesday, June 7th, three unknown male suspects attended the Home Depot located at 3300 South Service Road West in Oakville.
Suspect one paid in cash for a trimmer and radio and then gave his receipt to another suspect once outside.
The second suspect went back into the store and handed the receipt to the third suspect, who then selected the same trimmer and radio.
The third suspect presented the receipt at the cash, deceiving the cashier, and left the store without paying for the second trimmer and radio.
Asset Protection from the Home Depot attempted to arrest the third suspect, but all three fled in a white Infinite SUV.
The stolen trimmer and radio were recovered.
Halton Police describe the suspects as:
- Suspect 1: male, 35-45 years old, approximately 5’9″, 155lbs., thin full beard, wearing a grey baseball hat with black symbol, black t-shirt, black Under Armour shorts with white UA up the right side, black Nike running shoes with white symbol
- Suspect 2: male, 30-40 years old, approximately 5’11”, 170lbs, wearing a grey full back baseball hat, grey t-shirt with design on front, ripped blue jeans and grey high top Nike shoes with white symbol.
- Suspect 3: -male, 30-30 years old, approximately 5’10”, 160lbs, thin chinstrap beard with unconnected moustache, wearing a black baseball hat with white Detroit Tigers ‘D’ in Italics on front, grey Nike sweater with white check mark on left chest, grey track pants, black Nike running shoes with white symbol.
