The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest in relation to an arson investigation in Oakville
On Sunday, June 5th, at roughly 1:30 a.m., Four Brothers Pizza on Kingsway Drive in Oakville was set on fire. A suspect threw a rock through a window of the business and then threw a gas can into the restaurant causing about $18,000 worth of damage.
An investigation was done by officers with the 2 District Criminal Investigation Bureau. On Monday, June 20th, the 29-year-old Tyler Wesley of Hamilton was arrested. Officers also executed a search warrant at his residence in Hamilton.
Wesley has been charged with the following:
- Arson – Damage to Property
- Possession of Incendiary Material
Wesley was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
