The Oakville & Milton Humane Society (OMHS) has been holding its ‘Mission Pawsible’ fundraising campaign.
The annual initiative is supporting thousands of vulnerable animals that are placed in the shelter each year.
Taken from the website:
Each animal begins their journey at the shelter with the reassurance that they will be well looked after. They receive a full health check as well as vaccine updates and a spay/neuter surgery. Many pets being surrendered continue to require behavioral training, socialization as well as expensive veterinary care for various un-treated conditions. Each unique journey is funded solely by generous donors and sponsors participating in events like Mission Pawsible.
If you accept the Mission, you will be helping each and every animal by taking part in the many events offered.

One puppy who has become essentially a mascot for the event is Maple. Pictured above, Maple is just one puppy among thousands whose life would have been very different without the care of the Oakville & Milton Humane Society. She was fighting a highly-contagious virus that could have been fatal, had she not received the medical intervention she needed at just the right time.
Thanks to the OMHS and our supporters Maple is now thriving. They gave her the care, love and confidence she needed to bounce back from her illness. She joined her forever family and has been making happy memories ever since.
There are countless animals like Maple whose futures lie in the balance. The OMHS is 100% reliant on donations and can’t help the animals that need us without help. Donate today at: omhs.ca/donatenow
Your gift will be matched by A1 Air Conditioning & Heating up to $2500, meaning we can help TWICE as many Maples find the home and happiness they deserve.
