The Darling Home for Kids celebrated its dedicated volunteer team with an appreciation BBQ this past weekend (June 4th).
Volunteer Engagement Officer, Erin Huber says the Appreciation BBQ was the organizations first in-person event since the start of the pandemic.
Huber says the event showed a lot of support for the non-profit children’s charitable organization, and that it’s important for the Town of Milton.
This was the first pediatric hospice in Ontario funded by The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
The Darling Home for Kids first opened its doors in 2004, and grew from there expanding in 2007. Since then the programs have continued to grow.
