Milton residents love their fish and chips, but is there a de facto number one option in town?
“Milton’s Best” asks residents to vote on the top this or the top that in town, and we calculated who the number one option. Yesterday, the subject was burgers. The majority of votes went to two specific places: The Works Milton and Kevin’s Hamburger House. Bryden’s Pub came in a close third.
Now, it’s time for fish and chips. We posed the question on our Facebook page, with the promise of a $20 gift card for Heritage Fish and Chips. Admittedly, that may have swayed the vote – but we asked our followers to be as honest as possible.
As expected, the winner was Heritage Fish and Chips. There were a few shout outs to Milton Fish and Chips and Golden Fish and Chips as well.
So, why Heritage? Well, people like the breading and the fish quality, the fresh cut fries, and service also seems to be a big plus for customers.
